    his document provides Terms of Reference to capture detailed before-after pictures of forest areas by using drone. My Forest Child Project is being implemented in partnership with two partner organizations, Social Awareness Center (SAC) Nepal Surkhet in Barahatal RM and Panch Tara Yuwa Samrakshan Manch (PTYSM), Jajarkot in Chhedagad Municipality which is being carried out by SCI Country Office Nepal under the coordination and guidance of SC Korea. SAC Nepal Surkhet and PTYSM, Jajarkot plan to capture detailed pictures of the forest cover areas of project implementing sites as part of the MFC project intervention.

    Context and need of consultancy services.

    Save the Children together with SAC Nepal, Surkhet and PTYSM, Jajarkot has been implementing the My Forest Child in Barahatal Rural Municipality, Surkhet and Chhedagad Municipality, Jajarkot respectively. Project proposes a comprehensive approach to address climate change through wide scale plantation and community awareness on climate resilience. The objective of the project is to promote afforestation in the flood and landslide affected areas along with barren land of Barahatal and Chhedagadh municipalities. The project will focus on two approaches: (i) increasing cover of locally suited tree species in landslide and flood affected areas; (ii) increasing awareness of local climate change, opportunities, and environmental issues through child-led campaigns and school-based climate educations. The project will closely collaborate with the community forest user groups, child groups and youth, local government, and forest authorities to deliver the outcomes of the project. Project need before and after pictures that provides status of forest cover areas, these also supportive for fundraising purpose.
