    Job Description

    VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT (published on 14th June, 2024)

    The Centre for Mental Health and Counselling – Nepal (CMC-Nepal), a national level NGO working on mental health and psychosocial support since 2003, inviting application for the following position. 

    1. Finance Officer - 1 full time position based in Provincial Office, Surkhet - is responsible in maintaining project financial accounts and records as per accounting standards of the Government of Nepal and adhering to CMC-Nepal's policies and providing administrative and logistic support in the projects.  

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor in Business Studies or Business Administration with at least three years of proven work experience in accounting and finance in Non-Government Organizations.
    • Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience in bookkeeping procedures, maintenance of financial records, oversight of internal controls, ensuring auditing adherence, and producing financial reports.
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software. Money works gold would be an advantage.
    • Proven experience in event management, providing logistic support and general office administration.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
    • Effective interpersonal skills while working in a project team and partners (GOs/I/NGOs)
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written (Nepali and English both).
