KOPILA VALLEY SCHOOL (KVS)

"A world where every child is educated, safe and loved"

KVS is a non-profitable school running under the Kopila Valley School, an NGO registered in Surkhet, Nepal, and funded by BlinkNow Foundation USA to provide world-class education to the neediest children who deserve the best education.  Our mission is to change the world by empowering Nepal’s children. The K-12 school is co-located with other programs including a residential children’s home, women’s empowerment center, sustainability, health and wellness, and family development program. We provide our students with a free education, educational materials, health treatment and medicine, counseling, and a place to live. With our innovative future program, we strive to provide our children with career guidance, and scholarships for further studies.

Terms

Working files or papers produced during the audit will remain the property of KVS and these must be handed over in the event of contract expiry. Firms will be judged on the following evaluation criteria and experience and expertise of the firm within the not-for-profit sector. KVS will not be liable to reimburse any costs incurred by the service provider during this proposal process. Audit shall start no later than July 30, 2024, and should conclude by August 25, 2024. The audit team must at least include an experienced CA.

Documentation to be submitted

The EOI submitted must follow the following format. 

    Section 1: Introduction & Background information of the firm

    Section 2: Details of previous experience of providing external audit services

    Section 3: Personnel and employment details of the audit team.

    Section 4: Renewal related documents of the firm with ICAN and VAT

    Section 5: Audit Methodology, Planning & Framework

    Section 6: Price (inclusive of VAT)

An interested/eligible firm/agency requested to submit sealed technical & financial proposals to KVS offices before the above-mentioned deadline.

KVS invites EoI from class A audit firm that has at least 5 years of work experience, is a registered member of ICAN, and has a VAT registration number for statutory external audit of the accounts of KVS and its projects for FY 2080/081. The detailed TOR is attached here with the link “ToR- KVS” for the support of formulating the EoI.

The last date for submission of EoI is July 9, 2024.
