    Vacancy Announcement – Program Manager

    SOSEC Nepal was established in 1997 as a non-profit service provider for the greater improvement of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the backward and backward people living in the rural communities of Nepal. The organization has been implementing various projects/programs with the cooperation and support of various agencies to improve the social, economic, and cultural status of the backward communities living in the rural communities of Karnali State and various districts of the Far West and Lumbini provinces. The organization has been conducting its activities based on the following Thematic Areas: (a) Advocacy Against Inequality (Social Justice), (b) Resilient Livelihoods, (c) Safe and Save Life, (d) WASH and Nutrition, (e) Live Skill & Inclusive ducation, and (f) Children Prosperity. SOSEC Nepal has been adopting the policy of protection/security of women and children and zero tolerance against corruption.

    SOSEC Nepal is implementing the “Hatemalo” project in partnership with CBM with a focus on the socio-economic development of persons with disabilities. Creating, developing, and empowering self-help groups; providing training for their capacity development; advocating with local government to ensure their rights; raising awareness and sensitization in the community; participation of PWDs in the local-level planning process; and their active participation are the primary focus of the project.     Contract Duration: Long-term position, renewal on an annual basis

    Direct reports to: Executive Director

    Matrix Reports: Project Focal Person

    Report to this position: Program Coordinator/Field Staff

    Qualification: Master's degree in any discipline and at least 8 years of work experience in Development Sector & At least 1 years of experience of Lead of Program Manager.
