KIRDARC Nepal, an NGO committed to championing the rights of marginalized and excluded communities, focuses its efforts on Human Rights, Democracy, and Good Governance. With a special emphasis on enhancing the capacities of rights holders, duty bearers, and civil society, it contributes to inclusive growth and equitable development. Guided by its vision of fostering a just and prosperous society where individuals have access to and control over resources, KIRDARC Nepal strives for community empowerment and ownership.
KIRDARC Nepal has been active in Kapilbastu district for many years. Currently, we are working on integrated projects in Shivaraj and Buddhabhumi Municipalities. We are now seeking competent, qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens to fill the following full-time positions:
1. Position Title: Education Officer (1 Position, based in Chandrauta, Kapilbastu District)
Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, Gender & Development, or any relevant field. Minimum 3 years of working experience as education related thematic expert or management of education related projects/programs in Nepal. Skilled in preparing training materials on education and child protection, with strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation abilities.
Key Skills and Knowledge Required: - Expertise in education programs, policies, and plans at international, national, and local levels. Advanced project management skills and thorough understanding of Nepal’s provincial education priorities, including the School Sector Education Plan (SESP) and SDGs. Basic knowledge of equity and inclusion issues in education and related disbursement-linked indicators at the local level.

2. Position Title: MEAL Officer (1 Position, based in Chandrauta Kapilbastu District)
Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, Gender & Development, Management, Statistics, or related fields. Proven expertise in project/program management, ideally within education projects in Nepal.
Key Skills and Knowledge Required: -
Demonstrated proficiency in monitoring and evaluation practices, including adept survey design capabilities. skilled in conducting interviews, and extensive experience in Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and individual beneficiary interview Sound knowledge and experience in report writing, both in English and in Nepali.

3. Position Title: Project Supervisor-Education (1 Position, based in Chandrauta Kapilbastu District)
Academic Qualification and Experience: 10+2 or Bachelor's degree in education with a minimum of 5 and 2 years of experience in education respectively.
Key Skills and Knowledge Required: - Sound knowledge of education programs and policies, including Nepal's provincial priorities in education and inclusion. Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to build trust, manage resources, and effectively convey technical information in Nepali and local languages; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

4. Position Title: Project Supervisor-Youth Empowerment) (1 Position, based in Chandrauta Kapilbastu District)
Academic Qualification and Experience: 10+2 or Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 5 and 2 years of experience in education respectively.
Key Skills and Knowledge Required: - Sound knowledge of youth empowerment programs and policies, including Nepal's provincial priorities in youth empowerment. Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to build trust, manage resources, and effectively convey technical information in Nepali and local languages; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
