    Everest Club (EC), Dailekh with the partnership of CBM Global Nepal is going to implement “BIKASH" project in Gurans Rural Municipality and Dungeshwor Rural Municipality of Dailekh District from July 2024.     Jobs Description of Program Coordinator

    Location of the Post: Head Office, Everest Club (EC), Dailekh

    Reporting to: Executive Director, Everest Club Dailekh and Line Agency

    Position to be supervised: Technical Officer Livelihood and Community Development Facilitator

    Field: Gurans RM and Dungeshwor RM of Dailekh District

    Key roles and responsibilities

    • Overall responsible for Disability Inclusive Development (DID), Micro Enterprises Development (MED) and Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) module implementation with more effectively and excellent knowledge of inclusive livelihood components social mobilization, entrepreneurship development, technical skills development, access to financial services, access to appropriate technology, marketing with continued business counseling.
    • Prepare the well action plan based on program's objectives and approved by line manager with close coordination and collaboration with line agency, district level and local level stakeholders. 
    • Conduct result base all activities monitoring for Community Development Facilitators (CDFs), Admin and Finance Officer, Livelihood Officer and other staffs task in field level and create team building with close coordination and provide feedback and suggestion for better implementation.  
    • Find out the issues, challenges and problems of program implementation to share with line agency for resolve the problems.
    • Organize the district and local government level orientation, workshop, training and interaction during program implementation and prepare its progress then share the line agency.  
    • Build the relation with all district and local government level line agencies for conduct collaborative and synergy approach.
    • Facilitate and orientation to CDFs, AFO. Livelihood officer and other staff for all events of the programs
    • Prepare with net and clean of all admin, account and program documents for well management and share the report to line agency.
    • Prepare periodic progress report, event report, monitoring report and support to AFO for prepare financial progress report and share by office line manager to concern stakeholder.
    • Update and generate the demographic database of PWDs and share to line agency.
    • Conduct the result oriented monitoring and evaluation for all event of the program, provide suggestion, feedback to field level staff for well implementation.
    • Regular follow-up of all activities and provide suggestion about appropriate technology, market linkage, access to financial linkage and find out the MEs issues, challenges and problems then prepare resolve plan and share line agency for problem solving.
    • Provide appropriate feedback and suggestion for institutional development of SHG and OPD networks
    • Assist to prepare micro enterprise sustainable plan, enterprise registration, PAN VAT registration, food quality check and patent and trade mark registration for enterprise promotion and sustainability. 

    Required skill, experience, and knowledge

    • Bachelor's Degree in social work/Development Studies/Law/Management/Social Science/International Relationship with 5 years working experience in relevant area, (or)
    • Master's degree in social work/Development Studies/Law/Management/Social Science/International Relationship with 2 years working experience in relevant area.
    • Writing and speaking proficient in both English and Nepali language.
    • Ability to work with MS-Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability & experience to provide training to CSOs on process & tools of evidence-based advocacy.
    • Experience to lead Organization Development (OD) process, tools, and management skills.
    • Capacity to work with children with child friendly manner.
    • Proven ability to manage risks and promote governance to contribute on strategic outcomes.
    • Working Experience with Province, Local government and concerned stakeholders.

    Job Description of Technical Officer:- Livelihood (LO)

    Reporting to: Project Coordinator

    Position to be supervised: Community Development Facilitator

    Field: Gurans RM and Dungeshwor RM of Dailekh District

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Act as focal person from NGO to the BIKAS-Program and take responsibility for overall field level activities of the rural municipality level
    • Establish a rapport and raise awareness on DID, CRPD, CBID and Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) integration approach through conducting group meeting and home visit activities of PWDs households and SHGs
    • Provide technical guidance and support to Community Development Facilitators involved in implementing the activities
    • Lead, manage and mobilise the team of Community Development Facilitators effectively and efficiently including instruct to prepare monthly work-plan and achievement report, approve leave, record all personal information and performance evaluation of Community Development Facilitators
    • Coach/mentor Community Development Facilitators to strengthen their capacities on technical and social development aspects in climate change adaptation planning, integrating gender and social inclusion in project activities,
    • Organize regular staff meeting, trimester progress review meeting/workshop and other learning sharing meetings and provide required support to Community Development Facilitators specially related to strengthen the capacity of PWDs and their families in implementation of project activities.
    • Coordinate, facilitate and ensure the participation of PWDs in project activities i.e. inclusive livelihood Planning and implementation.
    • Timely deliver the planned activities and fund disbursement ensuring the targeted communities, household are benefited, and followed proper procedures.
    • Work in close coordination with rural municipalities line agencies and non-government agencies in program implementation and seeking leverages in project activities implementation.
    • Monitor and supervise the field level activities, manage internal monitoring/joint monitoring and field visit events and report as per the project requirements including feedback collection from different stakeholders, beneficiaries and communicate and incorporate appropriate feedback in following year's plan.
    • Support to maintain the disaggregated data of participants based on gender, caste/ethnicity and well-being status as specified by program's M&E system.
    • Assist program coordinator to document cases studies, best practices, field level lesson learned and innovations related to the program interventions.
    • Support to organize the PRA, RRA, house hold survey and need assessment event to identify the potential entrepreneurs', potential enterprises and business site
    • Support to conduct the integrated life skill and SIYB training with program requirements.
    • Support to organize the skill development training with demand resource driven.
    • Regular follow-up, market support and counseling for business promotion.
    • Conduct the SWOT analysis for short out the micro entrepreneurs' issue, challenges & problems and prepare the resolve plan.

    Required skill, experience, and knowledge

    • At least bachelor degree in agriculture or any other relevant discipline; at least three year's relevant experience in agriculture and marketing. or Intermediate in agriculture or any other relevant discipline, at least five's relevant experience in agriculture and Marketing
    • Knowledge and skill on project coordination, implementation, and project management Outstanding.
    • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills;
    • Good spoken and written fluency in English and computer literacy (MS Office and email/internet);
    • Excellent report writing skills communications and networking skills.

    Job Description of Community Development Facilitator (CDF)

    • Establish a rapport and raise awareness on DID, CRPD, CBID and Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) integration approach through conducting group meeting and home visit activities of PWDs households and SHGs.
    • Facilitate to person with disabilities and their families to get engage in self-help groups and form/reform the SHGs
    • Facilitate program's orientation, meetings, training and workshop in ward and rural Municipality level 
    • Conduct orientation about the program's implementation process and norms 
    • Support to organize the PRA, RRA, house hold survey and need assessment event to identify the potential entrepreneurs', potential enterprises and business site
    • Collect the demographic data of person with disabilities and their families support to update the profile.
    • Support to conduct the integrated life skill and SIYB training with program requirements.
    • Support to organize the skill development training with demand resource driven.
    • Regular follow-up, market support and counseling for business promotion.
    • Close coordination with team and financial institution for access to micro finance linkage for create the investment environment.
    • Prepare the business plan with direct involvement of the entrepreneurs and revised the existing entrepreneurs business plan.
    • Facilitated the SHGs monthly meetings.
    • Conduct the SWOT analysis for short out the micro entrepreneur's issue, challenges & problems and prepare the resolve plan.

    Required skill, experience, and knowledge

    • Intermediate in any discipline at least 3 years or TSLC (JTA) at least 3 years experience or SLC/SEE at least 10 years experience
    • Previous experience of facilitating community-based
    • group sessions would be added advantage.
    • Self-declare on good moral character
