    INF Nepal, established in 1952, is a Nepali non-government organization serving Nepali people through health and development work to improve the quality of life of individuals and community as whole. The organization works in four provinces (Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces) of Nepal to bring sustainable improvement in the health and development of individuals and communities by empowering communities, providing health care and preparing for disasters. The major focused thematic areas are (i) livelihood and resilience (ii) disability inclusion/rehabilitation (iii) mother and neonatal child health (iv) Leprosy and NTDs. Similarly, GEDSI and climate change adaptation and disaster resilience are INF Nepal’s cross-cutting thematic areas.

    INF Nepal, therefore, requires the service of a qualified independent consultant to carry out a baseline survey of Empowering Women, Nurturing Abilities, Building Livelihood and Enhancing Inclusion (ENABLE) Project in Jumla with the main aim of creating income generation schemes in the community through various means of livelihood opportunities, address gender issues prevailing in the society with inclusion of the PWDs in the SHGs.

    INF Nepal invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from the Professional/Experts/Qualified individuals and company for above mentioned baseline survey of ENABLE and LIFT Project.

    Requirements for the lead consultant/consultancy are:

    • Proven 3 to 5 years of experience conducting and leading baseline, end line study both in quantitative and qualitative data analysis especially focusing towards resilient livelihood interventions, climate resilient agriculture techniques and GEDSI analysis, should be with reputed organizations
    • Sound knowledge, skills and experience in research methodology and statistical analysis application along
    • Experienced in leading research or carrying out baseline survey of integrated projects.
    • Familiar with and willing to travel and work to remote rural villages
    • The consultant must possess Master Degree  in Agriculture, Gender ,Development Studies, Social science or a related field  from a recognized university
    • Consultant/consultancy should be registered in VAT, latest renewal and tax clearance certificate

    (The individual consultant not registered in VAT can also apply, but TDS will be subjected as per government tax rule)

    Interested individual or company need to submit the following documents along with name and CV of Final Evaluator in a sealed quotation to the office address as below.

    • Cover letter expressing interest in the project for baseline survey.
    • Separate Technical and Financial proposal
    • Detail profile of firm and Consultant's CV
    • Updated firm registration, VAT and Tax clearance certificate.
    • Estimated Budget including Breakdowns.
    • Term of Reference (ToR) is available in the annex below and can be downloaded.
    • The above documents shall be sent in envelope in sealed form to the following address no later than 5:00 PM of 27th September, 2024 (11th Ashwin 2081).

    The INF Nepal has right to accept or reject any/all proposal without assigning any reasons, whatsoever.
