    International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.

    For the following positions, Community Programs Surkhet and Shining Hospital Banke is seeking competent, skilled, service-oriented, and devoted Nepali citizen who share our vision, missions, and values.

    1. Position: Project Officer

    Required No: 1

    Location: Birendranagar, Surkhet

    Purpose of the Job:

    The post holder is the lead person responsible for timely implementation of the Access and Inclusion Project and ensures the highest performance of work, desired results and impact of the project. S/he is also responsible for maintaining a good relationship with relevant government and non-government stakeholders for sustainability of the project.

    Required Qualification, Experience and Skills:

    • Must have a bachelor’s in public health or equivalent in relevant field. Bachelors in physiotherapy registered in Nepal Health Professional Council is an advantage.
    • Minimum 3 years of work experience in disability and inclusion related projects.
    • A working understanding of the rights and national rules of the disabled will be an advantage.
    • Good understanding of the project management cycle.
    • Proven ability in leading team leadership.
    • Computer competencies and general knowledge of Word, Excel, Email, Internet and Social Media.
    • Demonstrated ability to train and build the capacity of others.
    • Good communication skills (spoken and written) in both English and Nepali.
    • Ability to work effectively in crisis situations and readiness to travel frequently in the working municipalities.
    • Supportive of INF Nepal mission and vision and so able to be a role model through genuinely supporting and actively demonstrating INF Nepal Values both in work setting and in other visible relationships.

    2. Position: Pharmacy Assistant

    Required No: 1

    Location: Shining Hospital, Banke

    Purpose of the Job: 

    The post holder is responsible to dispense drugs and medicines to patients of SHIB (OPD, IPD) and others with doctor’s prescription with proper health education and counselling to patients. He/she is responsible to maintain stocks, proper storage of medicines, labelling and keep all medicine inventory records and sales records including daily sales transactions.

    Required Qualification, Experience and Skills:

    • Must have Diploma in Pharmacy with registration at Nepal Pharmacy Council.
    • Must have 1 year of post diploma experience in pharmacy or dispensary. Experience in a hospital setting is an advantage.
    • Basic knowledge on Microsoft Office- Word/ Excel.
    • Experience in handling software related with pharmacy.
    • Experience in storekeeping and bookkeeping is an advantage.
    • Good written and spoken English and Nepali. Good knowledge of Nepali, Awadhi and Tharu Language.
    • Good counselling skills and attitude to help people.
    • Proactive approach to patient care.
    • Able to maintain the confidentiality of the clients/patients.
    • Able to ensure and demonstrate INF values in work and dealing with others.
