Aasaman Nepal (ASN) ‘A pioneer organization for education and nutrition’, is one of the leading Terai based NGOs led and managed by social activists since its establishment in Dhanusha, Janakpur in 1999. ASN has been engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed at protection, promotion and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Currently ASN has been working in 24 districts under 6 Thematic Areas as: Education/Child Protection, Women Empowerment, Livelihood/ Natural Resource Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Health/ Nutrition and Good Governance.
Aasaman Nepal with Street Child will be executing “Build the Basics project” which aims to implement integrated intervention to alleviate learning loss and accelerate learning levels for 36,000 children; strengthen school capacities for continued learning and retention of students in 600 state schools across 40 Local Governments; and engage in evidence-based advocacy for proportional actions at the systems level in Madhesh Province and Karnali Province.
The Aasaman Nepal is looking for the self-motivated, result oriented and hard-working Nepali citizen for the following positions:
1. TaRL Instructor – Two (Salyan, Jajarkot)
Objective/Purpose of the Position:
The Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Instructors will primarily be responsible for building the capacity of teachers, educators, and trainers. They are also responsible for monitoring the project activities of the Build the Basics Project. They will design and deliver training programs, provide ongoing instant support, and ensure the successful transfer of knowledge and skills to teachers, educators and trainers. They will develop their capacity in facilitation, assessment and evaluation and
will be responsible for the smooth and efficient implementation of the project activities.

Languages: Strong command of Nepali, English (oral and written) and local language preferred/required.
